Questions, answered
How long does wine last after opening?
Sparkling fades in 1 to 2 days; whites and roses hold 3 to 5 days refrigerated; reds 3 to 4 days with a stopper. Fortified wines like port last for weeks.
What is the difference between Champagne and sparkling wine?
Champagne is sparkling wine from the Champagne region of France, made by traditional bottle fermentation. Prosecco, cava and others follow their own regions and methods.
Should red wine be chilled?
Slightly, yes - about 55 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Most rooms are warmer than that, which flattens the fruit; fifteen minutes in the fridge fixes it.
Are the bottles at Order of Spirits authentic?
Yes. We are a licensed US retailer and every bottle comes through licensed distributors - the label listed is the label you get.
How much is shipping?
Free on every order, no minimum, tracked and insured. An adult 21 or older signs at delivery.
