Questions, answered
What is the difference between blanco, reposado and anejo tequila?
Aging. Blanco is unaged and brightest in agave flavor; reposado rests 2 to 12 months in oak; anejo ages 1 to 3 years and extra anejo beyond that - each step trades pepper and citrus for vanilla and spice.
Is 100 percent agave tequila better?
Generally, yes. It must be made entirely from blue Weber agave, while mixto tequila can include other sugars. Check the label - the designation is always printed.
Does tequila go bad after opening?
No - it is shelf-stable. Keep it capped, upright and out of sunlight and it will taste right for a year or more.
Are the bottles at Order of Spirits authentic?
Yes. We are a licensed US retailer and every bottle comes through licensed distributors - the label listed is the label you get.
How much is shipping?
Free on every order, no minimum, tracked and insured. An adult 21 or older signs at delivery.
